REX Stores Corporation, headquartered in Dayton Ohio, is a specialty retailer of
consumer electronic products and appliances. As of April 30, 2008, the Company operated
111 retail stores in 34 states under the trade name of "REX". The Company entered
the alternative energy industry in fiscal 2006 by investing in several entities
organized to construct and subsequently operate ethanol producing plants. REX has
also been active in several synthetic fuel investments since fiscal year 1998.
